After more than two years as a lecturer in the Faculty of Sharia Sciences - Souq Al-Jumah - and after heading the Department of Studies and Research in the year: 2021-2022, a member of the faculty: Abdul Rahman Farhat now works full-time as an assistant lecturer in the same college, and he also supervises graduation projects for fourth-year students He works as a researcher and lecturer in Islamic and linguistic sciences. He has published regularly in local magazines and is a member of the college journal.

      And he is currently giving - like the rest of his colleagues - some legal and cultural lectures, which are organized by the Department: "Research and Consultation" in the college from time to time, and with this, a member of the faculty Mr. Abdul Rahman Farhat has combined in many years between teaching and scientific research in addition to heading a department in the college Participation in the management of the scientific week, as well as membership in research and conference arbitration committees.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli; Abd al-Rahman Farahat graduated from Zarqa al-Yamamah High School for Economic Sciences, year: 2010, and completed his undergraduate studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, at the Faculty of Hadith and Islamic Studies, where he graduated in year: 2015, then he continued his studies at the same university, and completed his master’s degree there, year: 2020 Then he continued his studies and began his doctoral studies. Year: 2021, and it is still going on.

Research Interests

Mr. Abd al-Rahman Farhat worked on a lot of research, and participated in some conferences, perhaps the most prominent of which is: Publishing a scientific research in the publications of the Media Center. In the city of Ghadames, Libya, issue: the first, entitled: “The Impact of Sects and Religious Sects on the City of Ghadames” September / 2022, and a peer-reviewed research was published in the publications of Al-Marqab University, entitled: “Doctrinal Principles for Denying the Prophet’s Sunnah” August / 2022.

External Activities

Over the years of demand; until appointment at the University of Tripoli; Abd al-Rahman Farhat carried out many educational activities, including, in summary: teaching the Holy Qur’an in Ali bin Hassan Mosque, years: 2008-2010, and he was a rapporteur in the Qur’anic competition held by the National Company for Mills and Feed, Libya, 2021, and he also obtained a certificate of preparation Trainer in 2018 in the Chair of Scientific Skills Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He participated in the skills course for dealing with others, the art of presentation and recitation, and was appointed as a Friday preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf, Abu Seif Mosque, period: 2014 until now.
