Rumenotomy performed on a ewe in the Surgery and Theriogenology Department

Tuesday, 20th February, A ewe was received in a critical health condition suffering from severe indigestion, and after conducting the necessary examinations, it was decided to perform an opening operation for the rumen (Rumenotomy), and a very large amount of hardened plastic bags and ropes were extracted, which were the cause of this condition. ‎

‎The operation included faculty members of the department and a group of fourth- and fifth-year students. These Students were actively involved in the operational procedure to enhance their surgical skills.
