Roles

I worked as a faculty member, primarily dedicated to teaching and supervising projects and research throughout most of my tenure. From October 2002 to June 2003, I also served as Head of the Aquaculture Department, during which I carried out all responsibilities associated with the role. After completing this term, I returned to my position as a lecturer.

Careers

- Appointment decision as an Environmental Engineer at the Secretariat of the General People's Committee for Utilities, dated 02/04/1983.

- Transfer decision from the Secretariat of Utilities to the Marine Biology Research Center affiliated with the Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli, dated 24/01/1984.

- Transfer decision to the Marine Biology Research Center with the title of Assistant Researcher.

- Transfer and appointment decision as a faculty member with the rank of Assistant Lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Aquaculture, dated 20/07/2002.

Research Interests

My research interests focus on marine environmental studies and fish larval nutrition, in addition to the study of Artemia characteristics. My interests also extend to aquaculture, including fish growth and live feed. These areas of interest have led to participation in various training courses and workshops, as well as academic supervision of related research projects within the Department of Aquaculture at the university.

External Activities

I have participated in several training courses and workshops held in Egypt, Malta, and Morocco, focusing on the marine resources sector and activities at the Marine Biology Research Center. I have also taken part in supervising a number of research projects in the fields of aquaculture, fish growth, and live feed within the Department of Aquaculture at the university.

In addition, I have served as a reviewer for a scientific research paper in the field of aquaculture.
