Naima Al-Najjar is a faculty member in the Department of Social Work at the College of Arts, Tripoli. Mrs. Naima Al-Najjar has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 1/1/2012 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization.
Dr. Naima is currently responsible for academic supervision of 3 postgraduate students in the department and also supervises a number of graduation projects and field training for a number of students in the department.

Careers
After graduating from the Higher Institute of Social Service in 1988, I was appointed as a field training supervisor in the Department of Social Service at the former College of Social and Applied Sciences. Then I continued my graduate studies and obtained a high degree in 2009. I was appointed a faculty member in the Department of Social Service in 2012 and continued my studies and obtained a degree in 2019. Promotion to assistant professor in 2020 so far
Research Interests
My research interests focus on studying social problems, especially those related to the family and children, and cases of displacement and forced displacement that Libyan society has experienced in the past years, and also studying social problems and phenomena in the medical and educational fields.
External Activities
The most important areas of participation are my joining civil society organizations that serve society, especially in the volunteer fields, including charitable organizations, participating in supporting low-income families who face problems of displacement and internal displacement, and helping with psychological support in cases of war and natural disasters.
