Faculty member at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Fine and Applied Arts, specifically in the Drawing and Photography Division. From 2019 to the present. He held the position of Head of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts from 2020 to 2022. He devoted his time to serving students and faculty members at the college and providing them with the appropriate climate that helps in the educational process. Dr. Salah Ghaith was also assigned as the activity coordinator in the department from 2023 to the present time... This position helps Dr. Salah, as a visual artist, discover talents and refine them artistically and engage students in artistic forums and participation inside and outside the university. Dr. Salah also contributed to evaluating the art competitions held on campus in cooperation with the University Activities Office administration

Careers

Dr. Salah has worked since graduating from his bachelor’s degree in the Ministry of Culture from 2002 until 2019. In the same year, he was appointed to the Faculty of Arts and became a permanent faculty member until the present time.

Research Interests

Dr. Salah was interested in research matters, which resulted in a study of important topics that serve the Libyan community, the most important of which was a study on the desert environment in Libya and its impact on contemporary Libyan photography.

External Activities

Dr. Salah participated in several artistic forums. He participated as a visual artist and as an evaluator of the works of the contestants in several competitions. Dr. Salah was also assigned by the Faculty of Arts, in coordination with the University of Tripoli, as head of the secondary school examination committee at Gamal Abdel Nasser School. He has also participated in international artistic events, the most important of which are the Alexandria Biennale and the Suad Al-Sabah Biennale in Kuwait in 2019.
