Dr. Salem is a professor of artistic creativity in the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Arts and Media. He works at the University of Tripoli as a teaching assistant after moving from general education to higher education in 1987. He has supervised many graduation projects for undergraduate students in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts and Media. He discussed and supervised many scientific theses for postgraduate students at the master's and doctoral levels in the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Arts and Media, and the School of Arts and Media at the Libyan Academy. He was also a co-professor in the Department of Fine Arts, School of Arts and Media, Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies. 2009-2016. Dr. Salem  has held a number of positions, including: Director of the Research and Consulting Office at the Faculty of Arts and Media 2016-2017, Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the Faculty of Arts and Media 2017, Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies at the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Media: 2012-2015, Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the Faculty of Arts and Media at the University of Tripoli, and worked as a member of the Accreditation and Auditing Team at Libyan Higher Education Institutions: 2008-2010, and held the position of Head of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts and Media 2008-2010, Head of the Curriculum Committee at the Faculty of Arts and Media, and a member of the Curriculum Committee at the college level. At the university, he was assigned as Head of the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Media, Tripoli, Libya, 1998-2000, and Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the School of Arts and Media at the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies. 2013-2017.

Careers

Before joining the university, Dr. Salem worked as an art education teacher at the basic education stage in the city of Tripoli, 1979-1987. He also had a number of scientific and artistic activities, including: Membership of the Technical Committee for Monitoring and Implementing Contracts Concluded Regarding Publications, Advertising and Visual Materials between the Ministry of Tourism and Public Authorities Concerned with This Type of Work - Resolution No. (306) of 2013 - and Resolution No. (75) of 2014 issued by the Minister of Tourism. A member of the Selection Committee for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Logo Design Competition. Resolution No. (10) of 2013 issued by the Minister of Youth and Sports. A member of the Committee for Setting Standards and Bases for Selecting Graduation Uniforms for Undergraduate and Graduate Students. Resolution No. (133) of 2010 issued by the Secretary of the University People's Committee, and the Committee for Developing the Final Concept of the School and University Uniform, Resolution No. (1388) of 1429 issued by the Secretary of the General People's Committee for Education and Vocational Training. He attended a number of training courses in the field of quality assurance and auditing in Libyan higher education institutions, and participated, supervised and evaluated a number of art exhibitions, intellectual competitions and artistic activities inside and outside the university. Dr. Salem Qashout assumed a number of tasks, including: Membership in the Accreditation and Auditing Team in Libyan Higher Education Institutions: 2008-2010, and Mr. Salem worked as Chairman of the Curriculum Committee at the college level at the university, and was assigned as Head of the Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Media, Tripoli, Libya 1998-2000, and Head of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the School of Arts and Media at the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies. 2013-2017.
