Dr. Wafa is one of the prominent figures in the field of pediatric dentistry, distinguished by a rich career filled with both scientific and practical achievements. Dr. Wafaa serves as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Tripoli, and actively contributes to the advancement of this specialty through her ongoing efforts to update knowledge and develop her skills and those of her students. Her academic journey began in 2013 as an assistant lecturer, and since then, she has progressed through various academic stages, achieving a promotion to the rank of lecturer in 2023. This came after publishing a distinguished scientific research in the 'Gulf of Libya' journal, which reinforced her status as one of the distinguished academics in her field. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Wafa continues to contribute to the academic community by supervising numerous research and scientific projects aimed at improving the quality of healthcare provided to children in Libya

Organizing lectures and awareness programs in orphanages, where she educated children and caregivers on the importance of prevention and oral hygiene, as part of her ongoing efforts to promote the culture of “prevention is better than cure” in the community.
