Nuri Mraiwa is one of the staff members at the department of periodontology faculty of Dentistry. He is working as a periodotologist since 21-05-05. He teaches periodontology theoritically and clinically and has several puplications in local and international journals and participating local and international conferences.

Prof. Dr. Nuri Mraiwa was member of the editorial board of the Libyan Dental journal and reviwer at the  LIMU ( Libyan international , .medical university journal), Member of the ISLD international society of laser in dentistry, member of the Belgian academy of laser er of the ISLD international society of laser in dentistry, member of the Belgian academy of laser application in dentistry, , member of the Belgian society of periodontology, member of the Libyan society of Periodontology
