Careers
I started at University of Tripoli, Faculty of dentistry after finishing me master’s degree at Cairo University 31/12/2014 as assistant lecturer, department of oral and maxillofacial surgery. At 2019 I got the lecturer degree from that time until 2022. During 2022, I am doing a fellowship at University of Michigan USA for one year in implantology and periodontology.
Research Interests
My Research interest: Clinical trial especially “Soft tissue graft around implants especially (esthetic failing implants)”. and I want to continue in the same field documenting and publishing more clinical trials. At the same time develop new idea for such a hot topic as Growth factors and stem cells, their role in periodontology especially soft tissue grafting, regeneration and for MRONJ patients. also, Bone engineering technology includes using of Different bone graft materials in ridge augmentation, sinus lifting and for peri-implantitis cases.
External Activities
I have been practicing general dentistry for 13 years. For some time, I have been doing volunteering work with an oral health education team in public venues- providing free dental services, answering questions about available resources and opportunities. Throughout my graduate study, I have sought opportunities to expand my understanding about oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontology and implantology from diagnostic point of view to different treatment options and surgical techniques. I have been blessed to meet numerous clinicians, colleagues, mentors, and educators who have had a positive influence on me and sparked inspiration about implant dentistry. I had the opportunity to lecture and teach in multiple educational meetings, groups and helping other dentists to grow by sharing my experiences. I have also been honored to share my cases during international conferences competition and I was the winner in some of them. I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of my mentors. Because of this, I will not stop learning and be forever student of our discipline. I am full of energy and passion and ready to give long working hours to excel in common advancement on the cutting edge of practice and research in my filed.
I am very excited for the next chapter in my life. As my son said, I am crazy to go back to school. In fact, going back to school is hard at this age and I agree with my son, but he said if I have the passion and effort to complete the Periodontics Dental Postgraduate Program at University of Michigan, I should go for it and never stop.
