Abstract

Aims-as a sequela of teeth extraction, resorption of the buccal plate occurs. This could compromise the long-term esthetic outcome, and may need extensive augmentative procedures (for both hard and soft tissue). Partial Extraction Therapies (PET) are techniques that allow to maintain buccal bone plate and prevent the collapse of the alveolar bone by creating ideal soft and hard tissues which are necessary for long-term stability.
