Roles

Esam Shamis is a faculty member at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science - Department of Accounting. He is currently the Head of the Accounting Department at the Faculty. He has previously been assigned the duties of Director of the Research and Consulting Office at the College, and the duties of Quality Coordinator in the Accounting Department. In addition to his main work, he is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting.

Careers

Dr. Esam Shamis joined the College of Economics and Political Science as a cooperating faculty member in 2001, and became a permanent faculty member in the department since 2005 until now. During this period, he taught many courses in the Department of Accounting.

Research Interests

Dr. Esam Shamis is generally interested in developments in accounting, especially in the field of accounting research methods, and the field of supreme financial control.

External Activities

In addition to working as a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Dr. Esam Shamis works as a trainer in the field of accounting.
