Dr. Fayek Bashir Al-Teer worked as a collaborating lecturer since 2010 until 2013, when he was appointed as an assistant lecturer in the Department of E-Commerce and Data Analysis at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, University of Tripoli.During this period, Fayek taught many courses, including (Internet Introduction and Networks / Databases / Computer Principles / Data and Information Security / Systems Analysis and Design / Operating Systems) and supervised the graduation projects of a number of students. Fayek also published many scientific papers.

Careers

Dr.'Fayek  has worked since 1983 at the Medical Equipment Company as a representative at Siemens Medical Equipment Company. He has also worked since 1988 at the General Electronics Company and has moved up the career ladder, where he began as a general supervisor at the Garyounis Electronic Devices  in the Maintenance Department. Then he worked as Head of the Maintenance Department for the period between 1989 and 1994, and from that period From 2001 to 2003,  worked Dr. Fayek as head of the programming department. He was also seconded to work for the General People's Committee for Services Affairs in Tripoli as Director of Information Management from 2003 to 2004. After the end of the secondment, Dr. Fayek returned working as head of the programming department at the General Electronics Company until 2005. He also worked as director of the national project for computer laboratories from 2005 to 2008.

From 2008 to 2013, he worked as director of the company’s training office. Dr. Fayek was appointed  as an assistant lecturer in the Department of E-Commerce and Data Analysis at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli in 2013.

Research Interests

Dr.. Fayek has a number of scientific papers published in a number of scientific journals and conferences. His research interests focus on the field of analysis and design of systems and operating systems, by evaluating and studying problems related to them. Despite this focus in research, he has other scientific papers related to e-commerce.

External Activities

In addition to the fact that Dr. Fayek is a faculty member at the university, but he has other social activities. He holds the position of a local council member in Zawiyat Al-Dahmani, where he works as an advisor to the council.
