Bashir Attwergy is a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Requesting the Central Bank of Libya that private banks implement Islamic banking operations when they begin in 1995. Requesting the Central Bank of Libya to hold a conference on private banks to establish them on Islamic foundations in 1995.Experience:- Supervising the establishment of a private bank in 1995, the establishment of the Finance and Banking Department at the Academy in 1996, the establishment of the Finance and Banking Department at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tripoli in 2000, and the establishment of the Finance and Banking Department for postgraduate studies in 2001.
