Bashir Attwergy is a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Mr. Bashir Al-Tuwairqi has been working at the University of Tripoli as a professor since 06-20-2000 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.Qualifications: • Bachelor of Business Administration 6: 1977, Faculty of Economics, University of Benghazi. • Master’s in Information Systems and Administrative Policies 6: 1982, Oklahoma / America. • Master’s degree in Finance and Banking 6: 1983, Oklahoma / America. • Doctorate in Financial Management, Islamic Banking and Information Systems 6: 1988, Miami, Florida / America.Teaching: At the Academy of Studies, the Faculty of Economics at Libyan universities, the Police College and many institutes. Preparing curricula and vocabulary for teaching Islamic banking and Islamic finance for the Department of Finance and Banking at the University of Tripoli and the Islamic University of Asmariya.Teaching the following subjects (Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate): - Islamic and traditional financial management - information systems - bank management and operations - investment portfolios - financial markets - financial institutions - management, policies and strategies of business, finance and Islamic banks.Training: Preparing, supervising and teaching numerous training course programmes, in the fields of information systems, banking, Islamic finance, management, financial control, financial planning, banking operations, time management, marketing, purchasing, warehouses and development of various institutions, with very high skill and high performance.Scientific supervision from 1989 until now: He supervised more than 200 master’s theses. Requesting the Central Bank of Libya that private banks implement Islamic banking operations when they begin in 1995.
