Roles

Dr. Iman Hajjaji is one of the faculty members in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Dr. Iman works at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor and teaches many scientific subjects in his field of specialization at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. He also supervised a number of master’s theses and has many scientific publications in the field of his research interests.

Research Interests

Dr. Iman works as a researcher and lecturer in the field of finance and banking and also a trainer in the field of entrepreneurship at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tripoli. He is also a member in the Department of Research, Consulting and Training at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. The researcher has many research interests in the field of finance and banking and he is most interested in traditional and Islamic financing for small and medium enterprises in addition to Crowdfunding, Angel Finance and Green Finance.

External Activities

- Scientific advisor at the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research.

- Member of the economic team of the Souq Al-Jumaa Council of Experts in the local council of the Souq Al-Jumaa   municipality - Tripoli.

- Chairman of the negotiating committee with Libyan commercial banks, assigned by decision of the President of the   University of Tripoli.

- Member of the arbitration panel of the Journal of Economics and Commerce at Zaytouna University.

- Member of scientific research evaluation committees for the purpose of promoting faculty members in many Libyan   universities.
