Roles

Fathi Jamaat Al-Zaghdani was a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Banking in 2007 - College of Economics and Political Science. He now works as an associate professor and carries out teaching duties in the Department of Finance and Banking. He has taught many scientific subjects in the field of specialization, the most important of which are principles of finance, formulas of Islamic finance and investment, and the basics of Islamic banking and international investment, and he has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Careers

I was appointed to the rank of assistant lecturer in 2007 AD, and in 2014 I obtained a doctorate degree in Islamic banking, then I obtained the rank of lecturer in 2014 AD, the rank of assistant professor in 2017 AD, and then associate professor in 2021 AD.

One of the most important jobs I held during my career at the college was that I held the position of Chairman of the Scientific Committee for Postgraduate Studies. I also held the position of Coordinator of the Finance and Banking Department for Postgraduate Studies in 2019, in addition to reviewing the department’s curricula.

I also joined many committees and work teams in the college.

Research Interests

I have published many peer-reviewed articles and research in scientific journals on many important topics related to finance, banking, financial management, banking, and others. I also participated in many scientific seminars and workshops.

External Activities

Regarding work outside the university and college, I have many scientific activities, as well as a consultant in peer-reviewed scientific journals. I also worked with many governmental bodies in the field of training, especially with regard to the topics of Islamic banking, finance and investment.
