FARAJ LAMA is one of the staff members at the department of 3 faculty of 10. He is working as a since 1-6-2020. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his interest.He served as managing editor and member of the editorial board of Al-Jami magazine (General Syndicate for University Faculty Affairs 2004)

.- Member of the Advisory Board of Al-Jami Magazine (2015-2019).-

Member of the Advisory Board of the Journal of Economic Research - Faculty of Economics - University of Tripoli (2016-2018).

He has published 10 books in his field of specialization, including methodological books, including: -A book entitled Introduction to Public Administration, Tripoli: Tripoli International Scientific Library 2014.

Political Science: Basic Concepts and Methodological Guidelines, Tripoli: Tripoli Scientific Library,2017-

A joint book entitled “Fundamentals of Political Science”, Al-Waleed Library - Tripoli, Libya 2023.

 A book entitled “Political Analysis”, Tripoli-Libya: Dar Al-Walid 2023.-

The book “Human Rights: Content and Process”, Al-Wahda Library - Tripoli, Libya 2023.

During the period 1990-2019, he published about 25 research papers in scientific journals at home and abroad and participated in the activities of several scientific conferences at home and abroad.Participating researcher in preparing the Arab Guide on Human Rights and Development - the Arab Organization for Human Rights in cooperation with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the United Nations Development Program within the framework of the regional project on human rights and human development in the Arab world - first edition 2005.

Careers

More than 38 years ago, I was appointed as a teaching assistant in the College of Economics and Political Science. I now hold the rank of associate professor. I supervised many research and graduation projects for bachelor’s students in the Department of Political Science. I held the position of study and examination coordinator in the department during the year 2022-2023. I now hold the position of department coordinator at the Center.Research, studies and consultations at the college.

Research Interests

He is very interested in human rights studies, public policies, and political analysis, and has many research and contributions in this aspect.

External Activities

For a training course on “Methodology in Political Science” Cairo: Egyptian African Studies Program - Cairo University in cooperation with the African Association for Political Science during the period from 3 to 13 November 2001.-

Lecturer in the special training course in the field of “International Relations and Diplomatic Law” Tripoli: Institute of Diplomatic Studies in cooperation with the Libya Aid and Development Fund in the period from 5 to 20 October 2009.- Lecturer in professional master’s courses in the principles of diplomatic and consular work at the Institute of Human Development at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies (2015 - 2016) as well as at the Libyan Academy of Arbitration in preparation courses in the field of political and consular work - Tripoli (2016 - 2020).-
