Amal Al-Alawi is a faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Amal has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 10/12/2016 and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization.

Careers
Amal's professional career began as a teaching assistant at the Department of Political Science at the University of Tripoli. After obtaining a master’s degree in political science in 2016, she became a faculty member with the rank of assistant lecturer.
Amal currently holds the position of a faculty member with the rank of lecturer since 2023. She has been assigned to teach many courses within the Department of Political Science, such as Principles of Political Science, Principles of Public Administration, International Organization, and Public Policy.
Research Interests
Amal is interested in everything related to public policies and their analysis, whether within Libya in particular or on an international level. She is also interested in international relations and international organization.
Among the research papers she published: Public policy analysis: theoretical issues and methodological problems.
External Activities
In addition to being a faculty member in the Department of Political Science, Amal participated in evaluating scientific research to obtain a professional master’s degree. She also participated in a scientific course in Tunisia 2021 titled: Innovation in Research Tools in the Social Sciences, organized by the Maghreb Institute.
