More than 6 years ago Sami worked as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science where he taught several compulsory and optional courses in the Department.In addition to the main tasks of teaching in the Department of Political Sciences, Sami oversees the academic supervision of many students in the bachelor's degree as well as participating in scientific research with many of his colleagues in addition to performing the tasks of managing the Political Science Department page on the University website.

Research Interests

Sami is interested in research and study on comparative policies, international relations and issues related to Libyan policy. The research he published included:The role of national reconciliation in the process of democratic transition: a study of Libya's situation.Conceptualization of the failed State, determination of the extent to which it is reflected in the Libyan situation and study of its possible causes
