Omar Muhammad Al-Abed Al-Montaser is a faculty member enrolled at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Department of Political Science. Careers

Before the appointment of Professor Omar Al-Muntaser at the University of Tripoli, he worked for many years. He began his professional career as a teacher in the intermediate education stage from the year (2002) for a period of thirteen years until the year (2015), when he moved to work as an employee in the Office of Study and Examinations in the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli for a year. (2023) for a period of eight years. He was reappointed as a faculty member in the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli to the rank of Assistant Lecturer, and he continues to perform his job.

Research Interests

Considering that the stadium, Omar Al-Muntasir, obtained a higher degree qualification (Master’s) from the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies, School of Strategic and International Studies, Department of Regional Studies (American Studies) in the year (2013), and his field of interests is international relations. He also obtained a higher degree qualification (Master’s) from the University Tripoli, College of Economics and Political Science, Department of Political Science, in the year (2023). His field of interests is comparative politics and political systems, and he has a research under construction, entitled Foreign Interventions in Libya and their Impact on the Libyan South.

External Activities

He participated in a training and qualification course for the Warriors Corps in the field of political and legal culture in 2012. He also contributed to the establishment of the Homeland Martyrs Charitable Association, in addition to his contributions to the work of some civil society institutions in Tripoli.
