Roles

Since 2018 up to this point I have been teaching prospective teachers *the students within the department* various subjects at different levels.  My main duty is to teach, but recently I have been responsible for the organization of accreditation requirements within the department.

Subjects I have taught are; writing 3, writing 4(creative), research methods , teaching methods,  speaking 1, speaking 2, speaking 3, speaking 4, advanced speaking,  assessment and evaluation,  language varieties , theoretical linguistics 

Careers

In 2011, I joined the English language department within the faculty as a teacher's assistant. In 2014, I started my studies abroad in the United Kingdom as a sponsored student with the aim of obtaining my MA degree. In 2016, I obtained my Master's degree from the University of Bath Spa, City of Bath, United Kingdom. In 2018, I rejoined the department as an assistant lecturer. Having published two studies between the period of 2019 and 2020 I have been promoted to the academic degree of lecturer in 2022.

Research interests:

Teaching of productive skills, motivation and anxiety in EFL learners, Adult EFL learners, Gender studies in ELT.

External Activities

The lecturer  published in an international journal and in the process  to work as an editor for a local journal .
