The Department of study and examinations is one of the most prominent departments in the Faculty of Education, Qasr bin ghashir, Tripoli university, and it is the main pillar on which the educational process depends.the department carries out all the work related to the study and examination system, which is regulated by the general regulation ( 501), from registering students to study at the college until they graduate, through which the department is keen to provide the appropriate educational environment for the student in order for the student to complete his university studies to the fullest in accordance with the regulations and laws in force according to the Education Regulations issued by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research.The Department of studies and examinations works in coordination with the scientific departments of the College in conducting the educational process, where it organizes the placement of new students to the scientific departments of the college according to the conditions of specialization for each scientific department. He also supervises the transfer of students to and from the scientific departments of the College in accordance with the applicable regulations.After the completion of the registration process for the courses by the students and under the supervision of academic professors, the Department prepares the lists of students in all courses for all scientific departments and limits the number of actual students who have been registered in each course.The Department supervises the examination committees, monitors and distributes exam observers in coordination with the scientific departments.it also supervises the results and monitors grades by preparing academic sheets for students with the calculation of quarterly and cumulative averages in the database in the study and examination system at the University.At the end of each semester, the department submits a detailed report on the progress of the educational process and exams and presents it at the meeting of the College Council, which includes the Deanship of the college, heads of scientific departments and directors of departments at the college.

Tasks
The Department of study and examinations has the following tasks:- Coordination between scientific departments in setting study schedules and covering joint courses with faculty members.
- Deciding on transfer requests between departments and students moving to and from the College in coordination with the relevant departments and the Registrar of the college.
- Prepare lists of the names of students who have the right to enter the exams and determine their seating numbers and the materials in which they have the right to take the exam.
- Extract exam cards and hand them to students.
- Organizing study schedules, Hall schedules, periodic and final exams.
- Follow-up of study matters and supervision of periodic and final exams.
- Distribution of observations in the periodic and final exams in coordination with the scientific departments.
- Inform the competent authorities of the results of the exams.
- Prepare reports on the progress of the educational process and exams for presentation to the people's committee of the faculty.
