Roles

 Hana Elkali is a staff member at the Faculty of Education- Janzour. She has worked as a full-time assistant professor in the English language department. Her role mainly concentrates on teaching the English language. She has taught different subjects that relate to her major and she has several publications in her field of interest. Furthermore, she supervised many undergraduate projects and teaching practice trainees. 

Careers

After awarding her license degree of Arts and Education - Faculty of Education /Janzour Hana Elkali worked as a Teaching Assistant in 2008. Then she completed her study to obtain her Master's degree in teaching English as a second language at the University of Technology Malaysia. She was promoted to assistant lecturer and then to lecturer. Moreover, she has worked as an assistant professor since 2022. Hana Elkali was a coordinator of the English language department at the Faculty of Education -Janzour for two years. Moreover, she was the head of the English Language Department in the same faculty. Furthermore, she was a member of the curricula design committee and was an examiner of graduation projects.

Research Interests

Hana Elkali has presented and published many research articles in different conferences and journals. Her research interests focus on TESOL studies and applied linguistics. Furthermore, some of her articles have concentrated on affective factors and their correlation to language skills especially writing.  

External Activities

Hana Elkali worked in a training center at Waha Oil company as an English teacher for PET KET exams.
