Ms. Iman Bin Muftah leads a career distinguished by dedicated service within the Kindergarten Department. She has skillfully managed the responsibilities of the Study and Examinations Coordinator and has effectively served as the Department’s Meetings Rapporteur and the Practicum Coordinator. Additionally, she has played a vital role as the Projects Coordinator and as an active member of the New Students Admissions Committee. Ms. Iman contributed pivotally to developing the department's administrative pathways from the Fall 2022 semester through Fall 2024. In recognition of her administrative expertise, she was appointed as the Acting Head of the Kindergarten Department in October 2024, where she continues to lead and enhance the overall educational process.

    • 2012: Obtained a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Kindergarten.

    • 2012 - 2013: Practical experience as a Kindergarten Teacher in the private sector (Al-Diya Kindergarten).

    • 2013: Appointed as a Teaching Assistant in the Kindergarten Department, Faculty of Education – University of Tripoli.

    • 2022: Obtained a Master’s degree (MA) in Childhood Studies from the Department of Psychology, School of Humanities – The Libyan Academy, Janzour.

    • 2023: Promoted from Teaching Assistant to Faculty Member (Assistant Lecturer) in the Kindergarten Department.

    • Present: Current Faculty Member in the department and a PhD Researcher specializing in Psychology at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies.

  • Research Interests

    • Master’s Thesis: The Reality of Practicing Motor Education Activities in Kindergarten Institutions from the Perspective of Teachers and Principals in "Tripoli City."
  • External Activities

    "Current efforts are intensively focused on academic and research development within the University of Tripoli. This includes a future-oriented openness to collaborating with educational institutions and research centers specialized in childhood affairs and community service, aiming to bridge the gap between academic research and practical social contribution."
