Professor Zainab Muhammad Al-Lafi worked in the public education sector in Tripoli in 1987. I continued to work there until 2007. Then I moved to work at the Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli in 2007 after obtaining a master’s degree in educational sciences, specializing in educational administration in 2004 from the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies. I worked in the Department of Education and Psychology and taught school administration to fourth-year students in all departments of the college. Then I was assigned to head the Kindergarten Department in 2008, in addition to other scientific and administrative tasks, including coordinating the practical education program at the college level and teaching the following courses: kindergarten child culture and kindergarten management course, supervising graduation projects for department students, as well as academic supervision of department students. I was assigned as a member of the advisory committee for the Faculty of Education Scientific Journal in 2009, and I was also assigned as a member of the committee for developing and unifying the curricula of the Faculty of Education at the level of Libya in 2010. I also worked as a member of the committee for maintaining and developing the building of the Faculty of Education, Tripoli in the year.

• Appointed as a teacher in the public education sector in 1987.

• Delegated to work as Head of the Appointments Department in the Public Education Sector/Tripoli from 1987 to 1993.

• I assumed the duties of the Licensing Department at the National Committee for Education and Vocational Training at the level of Libya from 1993 to 1999.

• Head of the Personnel Affairs Department in the Public Education Sector from 2000 to 2007.

• Assistant Head of the Committee for Mechanization of Administrative Devices in the Public Education Sector in 1991.

• Member of the Committee for Sorting, Listing and Studying the Files of Teachers with Expatriate and Local Contracts in the Public Education Sector in 1993.

• Member of the Committee for Laying the Necessary Foundations to Support Educational and Training Partnerships in 1993.

• Member of the Committee for Reviewing and Regulating the Status of Educational and Training Partnerships in the Eastern Region in 1995.

• Member of the Committee for Setting the Job Credentials for the Public Education Sector in 2001.

Research Interests

Participation in the first scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Education, Tripoli (The Teacher and Contemporary Challenges) in 2008.
