Thuraya Ali Al- Rakhis is currently working as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education-Tripoli, University of Tripoli, where she undertakes teaching tasks for undergraduate students. Tasks that she carried out as a lecturer at the university included tasks of teaching and guiding students in their graduation projects, as well as academic supervision tasks and practical education supervision tasks. Over the years, she has taught undergraduate courses that included, for instance: Mathematics 1, 2, and 3, Linear Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Solid geometry, Vector Analysis, Differential Equations, Mathematical Logic, Set Theory, Complex Analysis 1 and 2. In addition to the task of teaching, Thuraya was assigned a number of tasks in the Department of Mathematics, including coordinator of documentation and information, coordinator of studies and examinations, coordinator of research, consulting and training, as well as coordinator of practical education.

Careers

Professor Thuraya Ali Al- Rakhis worked as a teaching assistant at the College of Education-Tripoli (formerly the Teachers Institute) from 2001 to 2005, after that she joined the University of Tripoli as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics since 2015. Thuraya worked actively and effectively in the academic field and university teaching, In addition to the above, during her career, Thuraya has t attained the following academic ranks. Firstly, she got the rank of assistant lecturer in 2015, then the rank of Lecturer in 2022.

Research Interests

Thuraya Ali Al-Rakhis is a university professor with a good experience in scientific research. Thus, Thuraya has research interests in all branches and fields of mathematics in general.
