Roles
After 12 years at the University of Tripoli, Mohamed Aggiag now works as a permanent faculty member as a full-time assistant professor for teaching and research assignments in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning. The main roles are represented in his involvement in teaching and research in the department, he participated in local scientific conferences, he worked as a coordinator for quality and performance evaluation, he was a coordinator for studies and examinations, now he is a member of the scientific committee, a member of the self-study committee in the college, and a reviewer for some quality requirements documents in the department. His field work as a resident engineer for the implementation of the Tripoli Medical Center (1,500 beds) had an important role in refining his cumulative experience in the field of designing and implementing health facilities.

Since 02/04/2014, he worked as a faculty member in the department, worked as a coordinator for quality and performance evaluation (2016-2018), was a coordinator for studies and exams (2019-2021), now a member of the scientific committee, a member of the college self-study committee, and a reviewer for some requirements documents in the department.
Research Interests
Interested in studies related to the activity, effectiveness and behavior of the clients and their role in the successful completion of public projects, especially the major ones.
External Activities
Before joining the University of Tripoli, Mohamed Aggiag worked as a resident engineer for the implementation of the Tripoli Medical Center (1,500 beds) during the period from 1982 to 2011, and held leadership positions in supervision, follow-up and engineering management. The work included coordinating various engineering works between different spectrums of contractors from South Korea. Germany, Britain, Austria, Canada and France. He also holds advisory positions for international and national companies in some projects in Libya. Since 2018, he has been working as an auditor at the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions.
