Ramzi Hamid Elghanuni is a faculty member in the Internet Technology Department at the Faculty of Information Technology. He works as a lecturer and researcher in the department. Through his work in the department and the college, Mr. Ramzi Hamid Elghanuni supervises many graduation projects and is assigned as the project coordinator in the department in addition to the study and examinations coordinator in the department. He is currently working as the head of the general stage department in the college.

Careers

Before joining the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Tripoli, Dr. Ramzi  Elghanuni worked in the Documentation and Information Office at the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli after graduating in 2003 from the Computer Science Department. He then obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2014 from the Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli. He held the position of Director of the Documentation and Information Office at the Faculty of Science. He then obtained a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, from MSU University in Malaysia in 2021. Dr. Elghanuni  joined the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Tripoli in 2022, where he worked as a lecturer in the Internet Technology Department.

Research Interests

The most important research areas in which the Elghanuni doctor works are artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. He has also published several research papers in prestigious scientific journals in these fields. Currently, the doctor is working on research and study on the use of artificial intelligence in discovering anomalous patterns in social media.

External Activities

In addition to his work as a researcher and lecturer at the university, the Elghanuni doctor has reviewed many research papers published in conferences and refereed scientific journals.
