Dr. Abdulkarem Rajab Tamer's research interests focus on the study of bacterial resistance to antibiotics, a critical global health issue. His research aims to understand how bacteria evolve to become resistant, with an emphasis on identifying resistant strains in Libya and updating appropriate treatment strategies. He also strives to disseminate his findings to practicing physicians to contribute to effective solutions in combating this phenomenon. Additionally, he investigates the relationship between the human immune system and its ability to combat resistant bacteria, focusing on developing innovative therapeutic strategies to enhance immunity and improve antibiotic efficacy.
