Dr. Mahmoud musbah Aban works as a lecture in the department of chemistry, Analytical chemistry division . He taught several analytical chemistry courses for bachelor,s degree students, including analytical chemistry 1 and practical analytical chemistry for students in the department and for the students of the college of science and agriculture , and course in analytical chemistry 3, classroom chemistry . i supervised graduation projects for chemistry students at the college of education in janzour ,3 students , in the field of water analysis , knowledge of its specifications and comparison with libyan and international specifications . currently the curriculum coordinator in the chemistry department from october 2022 until now.

Professional careerFrom October 2004 until June 2006: Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry / College of Science / University of Tripoli / Al-Haffara Branch / Libya (full-time).  2. From October 2000 to July 2002: Faculty member in the Chemistry Department / College of Science / University of Tripoli / Medical Technical College / Libya (part-time).  3. From October 1998 until May 2000: Faculty member at the University of Tripoli / College of Science - Department of Chemistry / Libya (part-time).  From October 1994 until July 1996: Faculty member at the University of Tripoli / College of Education / Department of Chemistry / Libya (part-time).  4- From 01/04/2004 to date, a permanent faculty member in the Department of Chemistry / College of Science / University of Tripoli, as a teacher.  5- As of December 2022, I have been assigned the duties of a member of the Curriculum Committee in the College of Science for the Department of Chemistry

Research Interests

Research interests 1- Interested in the field of analyzing Libyan water in terms of its sources and methods of contamination and studying the extent of its conformity with Libyan and international standards.  2- Study and analyze Libyan crude oil, determine its chemical composition and classification, and determine the extent of its use in establishing new oil industries in Libya and raising its economic value.  3- In the field of oil pollution by petroleum derivatives and lubricating oils and their effects on Libyan soil and water and working to find solutions to reduce them.
