Tarek Jadeidi is one of the staff members at the department of Zoology, faculty of Science. He is working as a fall professor since 2020-02-22.and perform the following tasks: 

1- Lecturer at Tripoli University, Tripoli, Libya, from 2000 to present, Taught the following courses:

     - General Zoology, General Ecology, Environmental Pollution, Life History of  Vertebrate, Desert Ecology, Wildlife and Conservation (for undergraduate stud.). 

     - Human Biology (Phar. Stud.),  

    - Environmental Pollution, Advanced Topics in Ecology, Desert Ecology, Population Ecology and Environmental biology (For graduate stud.)

2- Chairman of the Scientific committee of Zoology Department, Facility of Science, Tripoli University (2018 to 2023).

3- Coordinator of the Quality Committee (ISO) Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science (2009-2008)

-4 Participation in the arbitration of many scientific articles in the field of biology and environmental sciences

- 5Participate in the preparation of curricula of many curricula of undergraduate and graduate students

6- Supervised of many graduate and under graduate Projects.

- Chairman of the Man and Biosphere Committee (MAB) in Libya affiliated with UNESCO, since 2018.

- Chairman of the Natural Sciences Committee of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science 2023

- Head of the environmental sanitation department of the administration of health promotin and protection programs at the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) from 2018-2022.

- Chairman of scientific committee of the Libyan Wildlife Society, since 2011.

- Contribution in the Third Generation Planning Project (2005-2025): Natural resources, wild life and protected areas.

- Member of the MAB Arab Network for the UNESCO Program (2010-2011)

- Scientific committee of Biological Science, National Academy of Graduate Studies (2001-2008).

-  Participation in Regional Expert Meeting for the Middle East and North Africa on climate and air pollution. 22‐24 may 2017, Amman, Jordan.

- Participation in expert consultation to finalize regional plan of action for regional implementation of the global roadmap To address the health impacts of indoor and outdoor Air pollution,  organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) from 24 to 27 May 2017 in Amman, Jordan.

- Participation in the scientific workshop on the World Natural Heritage held at the Arab Regional Center for Natural Heritage in Bahrain of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the period from 7 to 10 November 2016.

-  Chairman of the scientific committee for the axis of legislation, laws and international environmental conventions in the workshop on the environmental situation and legislation which was held at the University of Tripoli under the supervision of the Environmental Affairs Committee of the General National Conference and environmental experts from Tripoli University 2013

- Molecular methods training in the Department of Vertebrate Zoology & Anthropology, and in the Center for Comparative Genomics in California Academy of Science, San Francisco, USA,   2012.

- Participating in the workshop on human reserves and biosphere reserves (MAB) held at the Chouf Cedar Reserve in Lebanon under the auspices of UNESCO  between  11-13/05 /2010

- Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the International Conference on Natural Reserves (Man and the Biosphere, MAB), which was held in Tripoli under the supervision of the National Committee for Culture and Science, Tripoli, Libya, 2009.

- Participating in the IUCN, Mediterranean red listing workshop on Freshwater biodiversity and red list assessment of freshwater species in the mediterranean region, held in Rabat, Morocco from 6-9 February 2007.

- Participating in the IUCN, Mediterranean red listing workshop – Logistics. (red list assessment of mammal species in the mediterranean region) held in Malaga (Spain), from 29 October  to  2 November 2007.

- Participating in the Workshop about bioacoustic analysis held by Biology Department, Mediterranean University, Antalya, during the period from 29 May to 2 June 2000.
