With a PhD in marine biology from South Africa, I returned to Libya to join the University of Tripoli. As an Assistant Lecturer, I taught Marine Biology and Fishery Biology, conducted research on [life history of fish  and ages determnation ], and served as Head of Study and Examinations. My goal is to contribute to marine conservation and sustainable fisheries management.

Careers

My career began as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Zoology.  Following my Ph.D. in South Africa, I returned to teaching as a lecturer.

Research Interests

The main focus of my careful study revolved around fish biology and fish diseases

External Activities

I worked as a consultant for a long time in the Tajoura Marine Biology Center, specifically from 2019 until this moment, and I have evaluated more than one scientific article for the aforementioned center, and I have also evaluated more than one article for the benefit of the annual scientific conference that is hosted by Al-Zawiya University, and this I have been contributed in conferences and workshops It is carried out by the World Nutrition Organization (FAO) regarding marine fishing in the Mediterranean, as well as the (ICCAT) Tuna and Swordfish Organization.
