Roles

Almuez  Shaftar is a professor in the Training Department at the Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences. Mr. Shaftar works in teaching at the University of Tripoli as a professor and researcher. He supervises graduation projects and theses for master’s degree students. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization at the university. He also works in many Committees at the college level and take over a number of jobs inside and outside the University of Tripoli.

Careers

He worked since graduating from the University of Tripoli in 1993 as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and obtained a master’s degree in 1998 from the same faculty. After that, he joined the study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Prague (Charles University) in the Czech Republic, which is considered the oldest university in Central Europe. It is the oldest university in the north of the Alps and was founded in 1346 AD and obtained a doctorate degree from it in 2005. He works as a professor in the Training Department at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Tripoli.

He has many research interests in the field of:

- Sports Marketing

- Sports investment

- Olympic education

- Sports legislation

- Governance of sports bodies

- Sports Technology - Quality Management of Sports Institutions

- Strategic planning for sports bodies and institutions

- Biomechanics, kinematic analysis studies in the sports field

External Activities

He has cooperation with a number of sports organizations with regard to work plans as well as sports planning programs and strategic planning. also  has cooperation with the National Agency for Voluntary Efforts, the Ministry of Youth, the Olympic Academy, and the Center for Strategic Studies. He also contributed to the preparation of several regulations and courses.
