Roles

Abdul Raouf Al-Imam works full-time as an assistant lecturer at the College of Sharia Sciences - Souq Al-Jumaa, and he is a teacher of the Holy Qur’an subject, for the four years in the college for the two departments of the Department of Fundamentals of Religion and the Department of Sharia.

He also supervises graduation projects for fourth-year students, and works as a researcher in the study of the Holy Qur’an and its sciences.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, Abd al-Raouf al-Imam completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Tripoli, in the Faculty of Arts, from which he obtained a master’s degree in 2017.

Abdul Raouf Al-Imam graduated from the Open University and took a bachelor's degree from it in 2004.

Then he worked in several schools for all academic years.

Research Interests

Abdul Raouf prepared several researches in his field of specialization during his undergraduate and postgraduate diploma studies, and as a faculty member at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences in Souk Al-Juma’a.

External Activities

Since Abd al-Raouf al-Imam was seventeen years old, he worked as a memorizer of the Holy Qur’an until the present time, and that is intermittently, in several mosques and places.

Abd al-Raouf al-Imam obtained several certifications in the field of memorizing the Holy Qur’an, including the certification of teaching the Holy Qur’an with the narration of Qalun on the authority of Nafeh al-Madani, in the year 1990, and the certification of memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an with the narration of Qallun on the authority of Nafi’ al-Madani, in the year 1999, from Tariq bin Ziyad Mosque / Ghut al-Shaal - Tripoli, and he participated in the recitation of the end of the Qur’an organized by the Holy Qur’an Radio in Libya with the Endowment of Hay Al-Andalus, from the Holy Quran Radio with the Endowment of Hay Al-Andalus.
