Roles
Professor Mohammed is a faculty member in the Department of Visual Arts, College of Arts and Design. He holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts 2001 from the University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and a Bachelor's degree from Columbia College, Los Angeles, USA, in 1983. He has been working as a lecturer at the University of Tripoli since 2001, and has participated in several seminars and conferences concerned with the development of cinema in Libya. Professor Mohammed has given many lectures at the University of Kuala Lumpur in his field of specialization.
Careers
Professor Mohammed worked as a film director at the General Company for Cavalry from 1976 to 2003. He also worked as a film director at the Media Services Company in 2002.
Research Interests
Professor Mohammed has several artistic and literary research interests in the field of visual arts. He has also supervised several graduation projects for undergraduate students, and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.
External Activities
1- Professor Mohamed has participated in many local and international film festivals in which he represented Libya, including the Carthage Festival / Casablanca / Moscow / Ashgabat / Turkmenistan. 2- Professor Mohamed also participated in the Libyan Film Festival in Benghazi - Man-Made River Session, as well as the Derna Festival.
