Professor Dr. Nagib Bayoud is one of the faculty members in the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Prof. Nagib Bayoud has been working at the University of Tripoli as a faculty member since September 5, 2003 until the present. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization, as after more than 20 years at the University of Tripoli as a former principal lecturer, Prof. Nagib Bayoud works full-time as a professor (dedicated to teaching accounting, auditing and research subjects) in the Accounting Department. Prof. Nagib Bayoud works as a researcher and supervisor for bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He has published regularly in Arab and foreign scientific journals and also works on research with colleagues as a mentor. As a Master's supervisor,Prof. Nagib Bayoud focused greatly on all related topics, mainly on the topics of financial and managerial accounting and auditing, in addition to the role of artificial intelligence applications and their uses in the field of accounting, auditing and finance. He also currently delivers ad hoc lectures at the request of colleagues on specialized research topics. For many years, Professor Dr. Nagib Bayoud has combined teaching and scientific research, in addition to advocating and conducting research-based teaching.Postgraduate Coordinator in the Accounting Department for a brief period.Member of the committee to evaluate several master’s theses. Research Interests

Main interests are: 1. Research studies related to financial accounting, such as financial, environmental and social reports, disclosure of financial and non-financial accounting information in companies’ annual reports, international accounting standards and how to apply them professionally.2. Research studies related to management accounting, such as the financial performance of companies, management of financial resources and assets of companies, improving the financial performance of companies, the most important tools and methods used to increase and improve the financial and social performance of companies, and other topics related to management accounting.3. Research studies on auditing material, such as methods and methods of auditing the funds and property of private and public companies, international auditing standards and how to benefit from them, risks associated with corporate activities, and other auditing topics such as social and environmental auditing.4. Research studies related to artificial intelligence, such as the role and use of artificial intelligence tools in the field of accounting and auditing through the use of machine learning techniques, deep learning, and other modern technology tools.

1. Reviewer at the International Business Institute from 03/15/2012 to 08/10/2012 with the job of reviewing research papers. 2. Journal of Accounting and Marketing from the period 03/2013 to the present with the function of reviewing research papers. 3. Participated in discussing the projects proposed to the Ministry of Planning from the period 03/2013 to 05/2014. 4. Director of the Economic Studies Unit at the Libyan Center for Studies and Research from the period 11/8/2018 until 2021. 5. A former member of the committee preparing the public-private partnership project assigned by the Ministry of Planning for the years 2013-2014.
