Roles

Professor TAHER HEMILY currently holds the position of a permanent faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Economics and Political Science. He performs teaching tasks at the undergraduate and graduate levels, scientific supervision of graduation projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations, as well as follow-up and academic guidance tasks for students.- Participation in the membership of scientific committees that are formed for the purposes of evaluation and review of existing regulations and programs, and submitting proposals regarding the development of the department and college, as well as participating in seminars and workshops supervised by the Department of Business Administration as well as the college.- Carrying out all work related to the job of university teaching. 

Careers

He was appointed as a teaching assistant in the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences/University of Tripoli on 10/09/1995, then a member of the University Staff, Department of Administration since 5/6/2001. 

He obtained the rank of lecturer on: 08/26/2008, then the rank of assistant professor on: 08/26/2011, and associate professor on: 08/26/2015, and the rank of professor since: 08/26/2019.

Research Interests

Research interests are concentrated in the areas of general and precise specialization of business administration, including marketing in all its branches and fields, branches of management, organization and business administration, scientific research, its methods and techniques, and issues of administrative reform and administrative and human development.

External Activities

- Member of committees for evaluating scientific productions for the purposes of scientific promotion in some Libyan government universities, some branches of the Libyan Academy, and other academic institutions.

- Member of scientific research evaluation committees for the purposes of publication in some peer-reviewed scientific journals and periodicals.

- Member of the Advisory Committee of the Journal of Economics and Political Science issued by the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Asmariya University - Zliten.

- Participation in teaching some scientific courses in the doctoral program in the Department of Management, Divisions of Management and Organization and Business Administration, at the Academy of Graduate Studies - Tripoli.
