Roles
TAREQ is one of the staff members at the department of the faculty of economics, department of E-commerce since 2010. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his interest. In 2004, He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tripoli, Libya. In 2008, He obtained a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology from (UiTM) “Mara University of Technology”, Malaysia. Currently, He is working on his Ph.D. at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Besides working a lecture, He has worked as the director of the Information Office at the faculty. He is interested in community source, ERP, DSD, Circular Economy in IT.

Mr. Tareq Almigheerbi has been serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of E-Commerce and Data Analysis, Faculty of Economics, University of Tripoli since 2010.
He has previously held several administrative and academic responsibilities, including:
- Director of the Information Office at the Faculty of Economics.
- Designer and developer of several key university systems (2014–2016), such as:
- Results Management System at Al-Hadir University
- Postgraduate Registration System
- Academic Journal System
- Departmental websites at the University of Tripoli (Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law)
- Member of the Faculty Recruitment Committee at the Faculty of Economics.
- Member of the Distance Learning Committee at the Faculty of Economics (2013–2015).
Research Interests
Mr. Almigheerbi conducted a preliminary study entitled:
"Practices of the Circular Economy in Community Source Projects: A Preliminary Study",
which explores the relationship between community source models and circular economy practices in information systems projects. The study highlighted the presence of practices such as recycling and resource sharing in these models.
