Prof. Dr. Ezzedine Mustafa Al-Kour is one of the permanent faculty members in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science - University of Tripoli since 1997. He is an initiative and diligent academic with a high degree of knowledge and experience in the economic field in general, and in the field of financial sciences and banking sciences (banking). Conventional and Islamic banks in particular. He has had many professional, executive and administrative experiences that qualify him to lead work teams and achieve results in difficult circumstances. He is the author of publications and research initiatives in the field of financial theory and banking sciences, and has a distinguished presence in lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences. And rich experiences in the volunteer field and civil society organizations, especially in accordance with the principles of environmental and social responsibility.

Careers

The beginning of the career of Professor Dr. Ezzedine Mustafa Al-Kour, from its beginning, was as a faculty member in the College of Economics and Political Science, where he graduated until he reached the degree of professorship in financial and banking sciences. During his career, he held many positions and tasks as head of the finance department, head of the monitoring and examinations committees, and several committees for developing regulations and the process. Education within the college, and he became one of the distinguished in the field of teaching at all scientific levels in the college, as well as in the field of scientific research and scientific supervision. He also organized and chaired many scientific conferences and workshops inside and outside the college. Research Interests

Topics related to financial and banking sciences within the framework of financial theory and topics related to evaluation models (econometric models), studies on efficiency levels of financial markets, the structure of efficiency and market power and recent estimates of points of inefficiency in conventional and Islamic banks, financial, accounting and economic studies based on financial markets, evaluation Performance, financial analysis and risk analysis of financial and business establishments, investment funds and investment instruments.

External Activities

Participation in preparing the proposal to update Law No. (15) of 2003 regarding the protection and improvement of the environment by 2024. Chairing several preparatory committees for forums, conferences and workshops related to issues of financing and investment, the state’s public finances, committees for structuring and reforming the Libyan economy, and developing financial institutions, and a member of the committee for preparing the investment sukuk law. And the executive regulations, and provides many lectures on the environmental and social responsibility of companies and labor market mechanisms, participates in the implementation of many training courses and seminars in the field of financial and banking sciences, and cooperates with many environmental and community protection associations.
