Dr. Muhammad Saqr, a faculty member, worked as a cooperating professor during the period from 2005-2006 in the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. He taught a group of academic subjects during this period.

His status was changed to a permanent faculty member on May 1, 2007 at the college. He was an example of a professor who cooperated with colleagues.

Careers

His career began as a faculty member at the Military College during the period (1984-1989 AD). He moved to occupy the position of Director of the Office of Foreign Relations in the Tripoli District during the period (1989-2004 AD) and rose through the administrative hierarchy, where he held the position of advisory staff in the former General People’s Committee (Prime Minister’s Office). ) during the period from (2005 - 2011 AD), and he worked hard during this period. He moved to the university’s Faculty of Economics as a faculty member from the period 2005 to the present day, and his work represented a gradual progression from a cooperative professor to a permanent faculty member, and he held positions within the college:-Head of the Study and Examinations Department in the Department of Political Science from 2009 - 2015 AD- Head of the Department of Political Science for the academic year 2013-2014.- Member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of the College of Economics and Political Science 2015-2019- Member of the college’s higher committee for equivalency of certificates and statements from 2015-2016.- Member and coordinator of the work of the advisory committee for the college’s graduate studies development program in 2022.- Coordinator and Chairman of the Postgraduate Studies Committee in the College’s Department of Political Science for the year 2022-2023 AD.- Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science for the year 2023-2024.- Chairman of the college’s subject equivalency committee for the year 2022-2024.- Deputy for Scientific Affairs at the college during the period (2022-2024 AD).

Research Interests

The doctor is interested in the field of political science and international relations.

Participation in seminars and workshops at the general level of the country through public invitations to the relevant authorities.
