Roles

Dr. Salem has taught many subjects in the department, including the subjects of public administration and political science. He has also been assigned to teach the subject of contemporary political issues and also the course on ancient political thought, in addition to being assigned to many tasks in the college, including coordinator of the subject of political science and also head of the committee. Equations in the department are also important in preparing the document on freedoms and racial discrimination in the college, and finally the graduate studies coordinator in the political science department in the college.

Careers

The beginning of my appointment at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli was on 3/7/2007 as an assistant lecturer. From there, I went on to complete my doctorate degree, from which I was promoted to the rank of lecturer on 12/20/2021, from to the rank of assistant professor on 1/15/2024.

Research Interests

interest in the field of political science, including the Russian-Ukrainian war and the return of a multipolar world. As well as Türkiye's attempts to join the European Union and other research related to international relations.

External Activities

Since I started my work at the University of Tripoli after returning from completing my degree, I was assigned to a team at the Quality Center to evaluate the institutional program of the Open University of Libya in the master’s degree in political science. I also worked as an evaluator for many researches for the purpose of scientific promotion for a professor from outside the University of Tripoli
