 Fathi is a faculty member in the English Language Department at the Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir. Mr. Fathi Al-Amari has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since May 17, 2015, and has numerous scientific publications in his field of specialization. After more than nine years of working in the English Language Department at the Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir as a principal lecturer in his area of expertise, he is now fully dedicated to preparing for his doctorate degree in his specialization at the Higher Academy of Studies in Tripoli, Libya.

Mr. Fathi Al-Amari has held several positions and roles at the Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir, which include:1- Head of the English Language Department at the Faculty of Education, Qasr Bin Ghashir (2016 - 2017).2- Coordinator of Studies and Examinations in the English Language Department (2017 - 2023).3- Member of the Scientific Committee in the English Language Department (2017 - 2023).4- Member of the Final Exams Committee for the Spring Semester (2023).5- Member of the First Standard Committee for Quality and Institutional Accreditation (2021 - 2023).6- Member of the Committee for Organizing the Annual Scientific Exhibitions held by the college.

Research Interests

 Fathi Al-Amari has focused on the field of teaching and education in the English language. He published a research paper titled "The Role of Mutual Trust and Respect between Teachers and Students in Learning English." Additionally, he addressed important questions related to teaching English that may assist undergraduate students specializing in English language instruction, as well as teachers in the primary stages, as highlighted by the author H. Douglas Brown.

Before and during his tenure as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli / Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir, Mr. Fathi Al-Amari participated in numerous activities and tasks from 1985 to 2024, including:

Main Roles:

1- Chairman of the Council of Elders and Notables of Qasr Bin Ghashir (2016).

2- Head of the Languages Department and Head of the English Language Unit at the Educational Inspection Office in Jafara (2007-2011).

3- Member of the Advisory Committee in the Education Sector of Qasr Bin Ghashir (2012-2014).

4- Educational Inspector at the Educational Inspection Administration (1999-2015).

5- English Language Teacher (1985-1999).

Other Positions:

1- Associate teacher in Teaching English at the Language Center of the Ministry of Interior (2012).

2- Associate teacher in Teaching English at the Higher Academy of Studies (2008-2010).

3- Associate teacher in Teaching English at the Higher Comprehensive Professions Center / Qasr Bin Ghashir (2014).

4- Associate teacher in Teaching English at the Police Officers College (2007-2010).

5- Trainer in various courses aimed at enhancing the skills of English language teachers, including:

5.1-Training Course for English Teachers at the Basic Education Level (2003).

5.2- Training Course for English Teachers at the Secondary Education Level (2006).

5.3- Organizing a workshop for English teachers at the Secondary Education Level titled "Practicing Self-Assessment and Its Role in Continuous Professional Development in Teaching English" (2013).

He is an active member interested in attending and participating in various local and international workshops specialized in teaching English, including:

1- Attending and participating in a workshop on developing English teaching methods under the supervision of the University of Tripoli  Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir (2013).

2- Attending and participating in a workshop on teaching language skills in English titled "Teaching Language Skills in an Integrated Course" under the supervision of (MACMILLAN) (2013).

3- Attending a training course in teaching English for English inspectors under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and the British Council (2012).

4- Attending a training course and workshop on techniques used in teaching English under the supervision of the University of Tripoli and the American Embassy (2009).

5- Attending a training course on designing objective questions using advanced scientific methods (mechanization) for the English language (2005).

General Information:

1- He has been tasked with preparing general certificate questions several times at the national and international levels in Libya.

2- He has been assigned to develop curricula for training courses aimed at enhancing the skills of English teachers.

3- He has been tasked with reviewing curricula and study plans for the English language at the secondary education level multiple times.

4- He is proficient in using computers and the internet.
