The University of Tripoli participates in launching the fourth phase of the Ibtikar project
A delegation from University of Tripoli participated in the first day of the public event to kick off the fourth Work Packege of the IBTIKAR project at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University. This project aims to enhance the research capabilities of Libyan higher education institutions and their ability to produce and manage high-quality research. Under the supervision of the Union of Mediterranean Universities and funded by the European Union, IBTIKAR seeks to support these universities in achieving multidimensional sustainability goals by empowering a new cadre of researchers capable of addressing local and global challenges, solving societal problems, and influencing social and economic growth in Libya. The program, spanning two days, includes various activities and events related to promoting innovation and scientific research. It will involve visits by a select group of members and staff from participating universities, including Misurata University, University of Zawiya, University of Benghazi, University of Ajdabiya, University of Tripoli, Sirte University, Al Asmarya Islamic University, University of Bani Walid, Libyan International Medical University (LIMU), Elmergeb University, and Sabha University.
