  Presented by Professor Bashir Magrab.

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ramadan Al-Jadi, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Osama Helal, Head of the Geology Department, and Dr. Abdel Razzaq Ezzeddine, Head of the Geophysics Department, and in the presence of guests from the National Oil Corporation and a number of college professors and postgraduate and university students at the college, on Wednesday morning, corresponding to 01/18/2023 AD.

The lecture included a historical overview of the oil industry in Libya and the stages of its exploration.

  The lecture also dealt with exploration methods in the field of oil and gas exploration and extraction. The lecturer presented examples of modern applications in Libya and concluded with future prospects for the oil sector and promising future oil and gas discoveries in Libya.

The College's International Cooperation Office and its family, the College of Science, thanks the lecturer for the valuable information he provided and wishes him continued success and more giving.

It was agreed to coordinate another lecture with Professor Bashir Al-Majrab to learn more in this field
