Meeting at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research

His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research meets with the Committee for the Classification of Chemicals in Educational, Research and Training Institutions in Libya and the Committee for Inventory of Laboratories in Libyan Universities, in the presence of both His Excellency the Minister of Education and His Excellency the Minister of Local Government, where Dr. Imran Al-Qayeb welcomed the ministers and members of the aforementioned committees, appreciating the efforts made  Because of the importance of this work in preserving the safety of society and the environment, this meeting began with a presentation by the Factories Inventory Committee of the results of its work, in which it indicated the number of devices, whether operating or that need simple maintenance or permanently stopped, as well as some data and statistics that were collected from  All Libyan universities, then moved to the Chemical Classification Committee in all educational, research and training institutions, which in turn presented a summary of the results of the committee’s work, which was represented in the number of chemicals and their complete classification in terms of their validity as well as in terms of their use, whether educational or research, and provided accurate statistics and indicators  clear.

 At the end of the meeting, the results of the committee’s work were delivered to both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Local Government, where the Minister of Education praised the work done by these committees and its importance. The Minister of Local Government also extended thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.  Who restored the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to its natural role in providing advice, solutions and ideas, as well as praising the work of the committee and all the experts working in it. He also stressed the importance of this work, stressing the continuation of the Environmental Sanitation Department in the Ministry in cooperation with experts in this field in Libyan universities and research centers for the safe disposal of these materials.  To preserve society and the environment.
