Zainab Hussein El Mabrouk Ali is a staff member in the Zoology Department at the Faculty of Science. She has been working at the University of Tripoli since March 1993. Mrs. El Mabrouk has many scientific publications in her field of specialization.

I am a member of the Graduate Studies Committee of the Department of Zoology in the Faculty of Science during the academic year 2023-2024.

I participate in discussing master’s theses at the University of Tripoli, as well as in evaluating faculty member promotions and evaluating proposals for master’s theses.

Research Interests

My diverse research interests mainly involve exploring the potential of natural materials as antioxidants to mitigate the toxic effects of substances to which Libyan people are frequently exposed.

 I supervise the graduation projects of numerous Bachelor’s and Master’s students and collaborate on research projects with colleagues from various scientific fields. Additionally, I have published three papers in the peer-reviewed Alq J Med App Sci, which has an Arab impact factor, between 2021 and 2024. I also published papers in the peer-reviewed Khalij-Libya J Dent Med Res, which also has an Arab impact factor, in 2021, 2023, and 2024. I have also published papers in other journals such as the Libyan Academy Journal, and Veterinary Medicine Journal,  and am currently awaiting the evaluation of several other papers.

External Activities

1) Evaluating many scientific papers prepared for publication by colleagues from different Libyan universities.

2) Member of a research team in the Developmental Sciences Division, Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, University of Tripoli.

3) I work with a research team from outside the university to complete many scientific research related to my field of specialization

4) Attending many scientific conferences in some Libyan cities.

5) Participation in many workshops conducted by the Faculty of Science at the University of Tripoli.

6) I participate in discussing master’s theses at the University of Tripoli, as well as in evaluating faculty member promotions and evaluating proposals for master’s theses.
