Seham AL-Azreg is one of the staff members at the department of Pathology and clinical pathology faculty of Vetrinary medicine. She is working as lecture a since 2010-10-05. She teaches several subjects in her major and has several puplications in the field of his interest. Prof. Dr. Seham Al-Abed   alAzreg has been working as a professor since 10/7/2021. She has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. She held several positions in the college, including  Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the period from 2013 to 2016 . She also assumed the duties of Head of the Department of Pathology and clinical pathology in the period from 2010 to 2015 . She currently holds the position of Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies in the department since 2010 until now.

 - Lecturer in the Department of Pathology& Clinical Pathology (2010-2013) to teach practical and theoretical courses for third-year undergraduate students.

  - Demonstrator at the Department of Pathology& Clinical Pathology (2001-2004) to teach practical courses for third year students.

Dr. Seham El-Abed Hassan AL-Azreg has several research interests in and outside the college. She is a member of more than one institution, including:

1. Member of the Temporary Steering Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine (Head of the Department of Department of Pathology & Clinical Pathology- Chairman of the Temporary Council of the University Facilitator No. 11 of 2011).

2. Member of the Temporary Steering Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine (Head of the Department of Pathology& Clinical Pathology- Chairman of the Temporary Board of the University Facilitator No. 191 of 2011).

3. Member of the Committee for Developing the Plan for Higher Education in the College (Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine No. 16 of 2012).

4. Member of the editorial board of the Libyan Journal of Veterinary Sciences (Decision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine No. 21 of 2012).

5. A member of a committee that undertakes admission and comparison to select the required number from among applicants applying for a teaching assistant position at the College of Human Medicine, Department of Histology (Decision of Mr. / Prof. Dr. University President No. 222 for the academic year 2013).

6. A member of the committee to study the clinical bonus and determine the departments to which it is entitled (University Council Decision No. 2 of 2014).

7. A member of a committee that undertakes admission and comparison to choose the required number from among applicants applying for the position of teaching assistant at the College of Medicine Department of Histology (Decision of Mr. / Prof. Dr. University President No. 2799 for the academic year 2014).

8. She is currently working as a researcher, master's supervisor, lecturer and resident of scientific production for faculty members applying for academic promotions.

External Activities

- She works as a member of the Executive Steps Work Project with Tissue Banking Research - Biotechnology Research Center - Toisha to prepare a file Regarding the possibility of the Department of Pathology& Clinical Pathology in adopting the idea of ​​​​living tissue culture (the research group of tissue banks Tissue allograft).

-  As well as a member of the neuropathology team at the Institute of Pathology at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Hannover, Germany (2006-2010) and participated in the standard educational program in Toxicology, University of Veterinary Medicine, Hannover, Germany (2006-2010).
