Prof. Dr. Hafed Sheali  Amr is one of the professors of the Economics Department at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science - University of Tripoli since 1/1/1986. He currently holds the rank of professor. He has held many tasks, including Secretary of the Economics Department during the period 1990-1992. He was returned as Secretary of the Department again during the period 1999-2000. He was Secretary of the People's Committee (Dean) of the college during the period 2001-2007. He also held the position of former head of the Research and Consulting Center affiliated with the University of Tripoli.  In addition, he works as a professor for the three university levels (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in economics). He was a member of the discussion committee for the first doctoral thesis in economics. He has taught a number of courses: Principles of Economics 1 and 2, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Public Finance, Money and Banking, Econometrics, and Mathematical Economics. Labor and seminar economics, industrial economics and oil economics

Research Interests

A.'s interests are based. Dr. Hafed Sheali Amr in the scientific research fields in financial economics and monetary economics, especially with regard to macroeconomic theory, where he contributed to many research papers, methodological books, or field studies in the economic fields in general or in the specialty of financial and monetary economics.
