Roles

Ahmed Maher is from Egypt and currently working as an assistant professor and advisor in the Department of English, Faculty of Education at the University of Tripoli, Libya. He has been teaching for more than 12 years. Ahmed received his MA in Linguistics and English Language Studies from University of Science Malaysia USM and holds CELTA Certificate. He participated in organising different local and international events; he was the Co-chair of the 1st International Libya TESOL conference on Engaging Young Learners in Libya (ICEYLL 2019). 

Careers

1-     Working as Full-time assistant professor in the English department, Faculty of Education-Janzour, University of Tripoli, 2008 - till now.

2-     Senior Responsible for the Study and Examination online System at Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli since 2018 to 2023.

3-     Worked as a lecturer and coordinator of the English department, Faculty of Education, University of Tripoli, 2010 - till 2016.

Research Interests

He aspires to integrate technology into teaching English in Libya. His research interests include educational technology (TEFL) and (TESOL)
