Yousra Elghanemi is one of the staff members of the English Department /Faculty of Education -Tripoli. She has started her job on September 1st , 2010. She has been lecturing in her major - theoretical linguistics- including phonetics, morphology and syntax. In addition, she has been teaching assessment and evaluation , strategies of teaching English as a foreign language and supervising trainee teachers in their teaching practice program. She has a number of publications that are related to teacher self-evaluation, teaching English in public schools and validity of the English examinations in public schools.

Research Interests

Yousra Elghanemi is concerned with researching in the following areas:

1- Learning and teaching English as a foreign language

2- Comparative studies about English and Arabic phonology and morphology

3- Evaluation of English course books adopted in public schools : comparing curriculum plans & implementation 

External Activities

Yousra Elghanemi cooperates with institutions that are concerned with developing teachers of English in public schools through organizing and conducting workshops that present strategies and techniques for teaching EFL .
