Roles

Mrs. Dalia Abdullah Akkila is a faculty member in the English Language Department at Faculty of Education, Tripoli - University of Tripoli, Libya.  She has been working as an assistant lecturer in the English Department since 2013 in her specialization, then she received a promotion to the lecturer position in 2022.  I was Commissioned as Assistant to the Head of the Study and Exams Unit of the English Language Department- Faculty of Education Tripoli.

·  I was Commissioned as a Quality Coordinator in the English Department- Faculty of Education-Tripoli.

·  I  participated in appeals and entry test committees to admit new students several times.

. I was assigned to work as a documentation and information coordinator in the English Language Department, Faculty of Education - Tripoli.

Careers

·   I Collaborated with the Faculty of Languages of the University of Tripoli to teach several subjects in English from 2011-2012.

·   I worked as a collaborator at the Faculty of Education-Tripoli University of Tripoli from 2012 until 2013.

·   In 2013, I was appointed to the Faculty of Education, Tripoli, Department of English Language at Tripoli University.

  I got an Academic Degree as a Lecturer in 2022.·

Research Interests

I presented a research in translation entitled "Types of Problematic that Affect Undergraduates' Competence in Translating English Collocations and phrasal verbs"

External Activities

I supervise students in teaching practice course outside the university in cooperation and coordination between the Faculty of Education in Tripoli and secondary education schools.
